Staff Commodore: James Coulson

As a San Diego native, James grew up wake boarding in the bay and surfing the coast.

Many summers were spent sailing aboard his grandfathers 60' ketch "Camelot" in the Caribbean and up the Florida. Sitting on the bow, watching the dolphins jump and play in the wake, still remains a vivid memory.

Whether racing in on the ocean or cruising in the bay, he enjoys boating with friends and creating unforgettable experiences that last a lifetime.

James is looking forward to meeting fellow boating enthusiast on the water and at PLYC events. He hopes to ensure that members always feel welcome, enjoy themselves, and have great experiences to share with family and friends.
